It's our honor to say that from now onwards students associated with SASKTY can participate in PENCAK SILAT Games and Championships. We have associated ourselves with INDIAN PENCAK SILAT FEDERATION (IPSF). Indian Pencak Silat Federation ( IPSF) have more than 450 approved Clubs & 32 Associations of different events like Tanding, Tunggal, Ganda & Regu etc. All state branches and units are duly recognized by the concerned State Govt / Olympic Association. Students of SASKTY will be eligible to be a part of the IPSF family.
Pencak silat is a martial art that originated in Indonesia and is practiced in many countries around the world. It's a full-body fighting style that uses strikes, grappling, and throwing, as well as weapons. The International Pencak Silat Federation (IPSF), or PERSILAT, is the international Pencak Silat governing organization and the only Pencak Silat organisation recognised by the Olympic Council of Asia.
